The Other Art Fair Sydney 2-5 December

Well it's been a while since I've exhibited anywhere (thanks Global Pandemic!) so I'm really looking forward to exhibiting at The Other Art Fair in Sydney again after a 2-year break. I'll have lots of new paintings on display and for sale, including these which I'm calling Mini Messengers.

These small works are all hand painted originals on canvas, 20x25cm. Painted using stencils, spray paint and acrylics, I have combined my skillset as a stencil artist from years ago, with my current expressive abstract brushstrokes to create a fresh approach to my ‘freedom’ birds in flight series.

Inspired partly by Matisses’s paper cut birds, I wanted to paint a whole series of colourful birds to lift mine - and hopefully the viewer’s spirits during this challenging time. Each painting will contain a positive message on the back from me to you.
